Notes:

Phones marked with '*' support Messengex's Burst Mode, which provides better message-sending performance. Burst Mode provides speeds of around 2.5 seconds per message, compared to around 5 seconds per message on phones that do not support Burst Mode. Note that performance is dependent on a wide number of capabilities, parameters and load factor of the GSM network that you are connected to.

Please note that some of these phones will not work with data cables manufactured by companies other than the phone manufacturer. We recommend that you use only original data cables to prevent failure of your phone and maintain the reliability of the system.

A Serial connection (com port, also known as RS-232) data cable to the phone is recommended. USB cables can also be used, provided the USB driver is installed, and it creates a virtual Com Port in Windows' Device Manager.

While we have strived to keep this list as comprehensive as possible, please note that it is virtually impossible for us to provide a totally complete list of such phones. There may be more phones compatible with Messengex, which are not listed above. If your phones has an internal modem(also known as a data modem), feel free to give it a try by manually entering its settings. Let us know at feedback@messengex.com.

Due to geographical limitations, the phones listed above are only GSM phones. Testing on CDMA and other networks is still in progress. More information will be posted on this page as it becomes available.

GPRS functionality on the phone and the network is not essential to Messengex, but the use of GPRS may improve actual message-sending performance, provided the phone is capable of and is setup to send messages over GPRS. For more details on messaging over GPRS, contact support, at support@messengex.com

For networks that do not support SMS-over-GPRS, the corresponding setting in the phone should be turned off, otherwise messages will not be sent.

Please note that the presence of a data cable, or of an IR (Infrared) port on the phone is not sufficient for it to be compatible with Messengex.

The listing of the phones above is provided merely for the customer's convenience, and is not an endorsement of any brand or model in particular.
